Wasn't sure if I was going to get anything from my Cherry Red BCI. She never had a noticable swell, just grew gradually, and went through 5 sheds during gestation.
Well, she did drop a litter today. Not the best of litters, but I am thankful I had a few babies from her. She was bred to the same Summit Hypo male that bred my Pastel CBLT.
This litter consisted of 7 Normals, 5 Hypos, 7 Stills, and 26 pills. Don't know sexes yet. The 7 stills were 18" babies, fully formed, colored, and had absorbed all their yolk. The only thing I can think of is the high number of harder pills may have ruptured sacks, during contractions, before they could be expelled. It is just a guess.
Most of the offspring are very high color; I can't wait to see what they look like after a few sheds.
