Time for change!

indiguy May 15, 2006 08:57 AM

Right now there is a committee in Florida who is looking into the current laws, and considering recommendations to legislatures for change. Right now is the time for all of us to speak up, and put the pressure on them to get it right! So get busy, and send those letters, and e-mails!!! Send them to; precious.boatwright@fwc.state.fl.us or phone 850-488-6253, or 850-488-5600 in Tallahassee. Or contact the legislators directly. The group in question is called the Captive Wildlife Technical Assistance Group, or CWTAG.
Thanks a bunch!

Well,as a practical matter, it is almost unheard of to get LESS regulation once it has been put in place!!

This is one of the reasons I'm not real supportive of the proposed exotic regs, they leave the door open for easy expansion......

I think more time should be used organizing what to email them. Just telling them we want less regulations for Indigo's is going to get shot down. Less regulations for Indigo's is how they got endangered in the first place.
