57 days in to incubation, the ball hasn't come out yet. The egg hasn't dimpled in and Im wondering when this guy is going to crack through the shell. Should I cut the egg or wait till day 60. Andy suggestions?
Thanks,
Kyle

Really I'd say wait and see if they hatch out without being cut. But thats just me and I wouldnt cut an egg unless totaly needed. Others might have something else to say. I'm sure tosha will.

Call me if you need some help, but I'd cut it.

What have your temps been at? Do you see any movement? I have had eggs go full-term without collapsing. I say wait the extra 3 days. I doubt it will hurt either way though.

When I candle the egg, there is alot of movement. My incubator has been a steady 89-90 degrees. I felt the egg and its really tough, compared to my other clutch that will be hatching in less then a week. I think I should cut it because it doesn't seem like the ball could break through the wall of the egg.
