Are these ever imported or are the available ones pretty much always CB?

Yes, you can find nice, c.b. C. vegrandis; that would be much better than obtaining w/c specimens. Email me directly and I will forward a name or two to you (as long as you can provide proof of age, etc.).

Thanks,
Really what I am wondering is if C. vegrandis is one of those species that is almost exclusively CB (using Hog Island boas as an extreme example). Thanks also for the offer for names. I don't need any right now but appreciate the thought. My legal status for hots is intact.

There are in fact, some CB urocoans that are imported. They are a darker black form, from a village called 'Soledad' on the north bank of the Orinoco River. Be careful, though, as they are dark and some people confuse them with Crotalus pifanorum.
