Congrats! Any news on the golden this season? I don't remember you mentioning anything about her yet.

The golden corn should be laying NEXT! (She has 16 solid lumps in her right now and she's pretty heavy!)
After that I got two Okeetees that are brewing. (All my kings'll be a little later since I brought them out last)

I bred her with this male (found about a mile away from where the golden corn was found). This is a different, much better looking male than the one I used last year. He's very pretty with much red - the reddest cornsnake I've found so far here in NC. He seems to have very little black/gray between the blotches. (This pic makes him look a little darker than he really is)

Thanks . . . It's actually my son's pet snake (I take care of it for him of course) - so he's pretty excited that it's having babies THIS year instead of next (year).
Like I said, all of my snakes were taken out a little later than last year - so eggs are slow to come, BUT: They are coming!
It's funny though, since I told my son TWO months ago that his corn will be the first to lay eggs and it'll be around SIX eggs (based on her small, young size)!!! That WAS a good guess, lol!

Congrats Zee. You are behind the power curve. Looks like Peter and I are about a month ahead of you!

Yeah, I know I'm a slow starter this year. Brought everything out a month later than usual . . . But it's coming!!!!!!
