i pity him, yet he is very fascintaing. it's wonderful that he is strong. and can yawn! i'm curious to know if he can eat -- i certainly hope so.

i'd love to see an x-ray of that noggin of his. i wonder how he's wired, brain-wise -- is there 1 brain used by both heads, since the skull appears more or less to be one in the back splitting into 1 1/2 in front? or does it apear different in person? if there are 2 brains, i wonder how they control the body. if he is very very feisty, perhaps the two brains are struggling to cooperate?

i'm very intrigued; it will certainly be interesting to watch him grow so long as he suffers from no serious internal defects.

do please keep us posted on this unique little one.

It's free to join any Yahoo groups.
A simple process that only takes a moment.
A lot of interesting information is available there on these intersting tortoises.
You have the option to view the messages on the web if you are afraid of receiving too much mail or a daily digest that would include all the mesages in one or two mailings a day at most or individual emails if you prefer to view each new message seperately.
The original poster has a lot of other interesting photos there also & many other member's photos that you won't see anywhere else.
