Take the rest of the yolk put it in a syringe and feed the rest of the yolk to the baby? He stomach isn't full like her clutchmate's stomach. For now i took the yolk out of the egg and placed in it a ziploc bag and put it in the fridge. So is it a good idea to feed the hatchling the rest of the yolk?? Thnx to all reply!

I wouldn't do that, just offer her mealworms or crickets and she'll eat if she's hungry. No need to stress her out with a syringe.

Are you saying the yolk sack is detached? I have never seen that. I have heard that sometimes they get out of the egg with just a tiny bit left to absorb. If it is detached and there is quite a bit left I would think the leo is at a HUGE disadvantage. In the wild it would probably die, in captivity it has a chance. Keep a REALLY close eye on it. Make sure it has fresh water at all times.
