HYPO ANYONE?

joe1983 May 16, 2006 10:31 AM

I just wanted to post this pic and see what comments I could get on this guy. He knocked up a normal female and I should have 100% Hets. New Bloodline. He is not bad for a petstore purchase

Nice looking hypo, I like how his dorsals are connected for most of his body.

Pet store? I would not think many would have Hypo's other than East Bay Vivarium, where'd you make that find?

A pet shop had him in VA beach. They did not know what it was except for the fact that it was light. They got him from a guy who was really into drugs and sold them all his stuff. Pretty crazy. I traded them an albino Boa and some other stuff for this full sized male brazilian. He is up for sale as well.

Joe,
...I do not think your snake is a hypo. I used to see some that color at the importers and they were just sold as normal BRBs though sometimes called yellow phase. I have one that produced babies many years ago and I sold them as normal babies. Tim Frazier who occasionally posts here has one that produced babies last year.

Joe,
...Can you show us a PIC of the snake's head?

Here is a Pic of his head. He also has no pattern in his sheds. I am not sure if its the same as balls.

...I have a female that has similar coloration....unfortunately she is not hypo. I will post pics soon. Your snake looks quite a bit like mine.
