can i use a heating pad under cermic tile?
I have ceramic tiles in my leos cage and use a heat mat during the winter for the extra warth at night. My leo loves it. I wouldn't recommend using the heat mat if you used the stick-on tiles, those are vinyl and the heat can cause harmful fumes to permeate throughout your leos cage, and that's not good.

is that the name of the tile i need?
Make sure you get a ceramic tile, NOT vinyl. Just go to Lowes, Home Depot, etc, and ask for their ceramic tiles. I had mine cut to fit snug in my terrarium, and I used some adhisive to make sure they would stay put in the tank. I let the tank "cure" (which mean to let the adhesive dry and air out for 24-48 hours) before I put my leo back in. I can get the actual name of the glue I used if you need it. I think you should search the forums for it, you might find a lot of info on the ceramic tile idea. That is what I did.
Good luck.

and u using heating pads.
Yes I use the 5 gallon Under Tank Heater (UTH) by ZooMed. I leave it on during the winter and use the infared heat during the spring and part in summer.

can u the heating pad all the time on cermic tile?
Yes, But I do not recommend using it in the summer months if your house gets above 80 degrees F. If the pad is warm to the touch, it means it is above our body temp because we can feel the heat, and add that temp to the surrounding tank temp and you are going to over heat the tank. There needs to be a daytime ambient temp of 80-83 degrees on the warm side and the cool side needs to be below 80, so 73-76 is good. The night time temp over the whole cage needs to drop to around 70-72, I find anything really over 78 they don't seem to want to come out much, just a personal opinion though. The house stays right about 74 degrees in the day time, so I use an infared heat light to keep the warm side at about 83-85 degrees in the day, and then at night the light goes off and the temp in the house stays between 74-78 degrees. Hope this helps. Post if you have more questions. I will try and get some pics of my tank up this weekend if you'd like. Let me know.
