A dripper is just a gladware container with a hole in the bottom and a hole in the top to break the seal. A very small plastic faucet can be used to regulate the flow. A mister on the other hand requires much pressure which generally cant be done with still water easily. You might have to purchase one unless you want to use a water pump which will probably cost you around the price of a real mister with different settings. If you need a picture for the dripper I'll whip on up in paint. As for the mister, it will be a bit more complex but if you do decide to actually make one I'll draw you a schematic for that as well.
