Wheezing and Shedding

omerfriedman May 16, 2006 06:49 PM

I've had my two year old male for a few months and he just finished his third shed. it seems like every time he sheds, the skin always comes off in peices, never in one long full piece. during shedding, soak hime very day and spray down his tank, but it doesnt seem to work. this time, he till has some skin on his neck an dhead that just won't come off.

another problem, i recently noticed that sometimes when i take him out of the cage he has this very faint wheezing to his breathing. i'm assuming this is the begging of RI. what should i do? is it bad enough that i have to take him to the vet? how much does a vet cost? i raised the temp a bit, but its not going away.

help!

Try a humid hide-put some moist sphagnum in his hide 24/7. This will keep a more consistent himidity for him.
