Question about albino's!!

VolcomHerp May 16, 2006 09:10 PM

I was just letting a few of my albino's and salmon's outside for some play time today and noticed that that one of the albino's eye's were not dialated from the sun like the rest. So I am wondering if there might be somthing wrong with her? She seems to be active like the rest so I am just a little concerned. Anyone else notice the same thing with some of their boa's sometimes? Thanks
Jake

Jake,
I myself have a Boa I suspected of having IBD, due to his weird head movemnets and errotic behavior. After a vet trip we diagnoised him as haveing no pupil response. Meaning he can't dialate his pupils. We believe he is indeed blind, but there is no way for sure to know. By the way he is a possible DH for sunglow, suggesting this may be a genetic defect of the albino trait.
