so the wild caught garter snake finally ate. he ate one, maybe two earthworms. i don't really know how many because i don't want to go routing around in his cage right now and disturb him, but i know he ate because of the waste product left behind. hes also getting used to be being around. he no longer runs into his hide box when i walk past. thank you everybody for all of your help.
