Had colubrae man out from Austin. Looks like a striped black rat I found may be hypo! Wish you could have made it out fiber man. The hypo is from the same area as the red morph. Where the checkerdboard black and white on the ventral scales are black and white this snake is yellow and white. Pics tomorrow mabee. We flipped quite a few snakes at night under tins........Nighthunter

Here is the ventral shot notice the Yellow checkerboard where the black should be. Alan Garry is going to breed the Yellow Stripe and Red Morph to a locality female we caught under the same tin that the Red was found under. Yellow stripe is from 100 feet west of tins from Red Morph.

I wish I could have made it out too! What a find! Why do they make cars so flamable!? Hopefully I should be out of sebt by the end of the season though!

Because we found the last three snakes under junked car parts! The 5.5 footer plus one under a car door. And a single under the car hood. Burned out cars should be parted out and put into a field! LOL
