Please Help!!!!

I need a little help. I just took in this Ball Python and she looks pretty bad. I took it from a guy who bought her and didn't know what he was doing. She isn't extremly thin but she is pretty skinny. She also has these blister like things on her underneath ranging from her chin down along her belly and down around her tail. It is just on her belly and underneath part. She isn't eating either. I have tryed giving her everything from pinks to adult mice just to try to get her to eat something. Even if it isn't a full meal. But she just turns away. I will try to post a pic but if I can't email me at southernstylereptiles@yahoo.com and I will send you one. The pics aren't the best but I can take more if needed. I have had several balls but I have never seen anything like this. Any info is appriciated. Thanks. SSR

There is nothing I hate more then a person buying a snake or any animal for that matter and not doing research and relizing what they are getting themselves into. Because of people like that we have such strict reptile and animal laws and they are ruining it for everyone. Not doing research is totally unacceptable and with the internet is super easy to do. There is just no excuse for that!!!

It appears to be a Bacterial Dermatitis probably from being kept in a moist dirty cage.

Ok I have never had to deal with this problem, what do I need to do to treat it? This is just a prime example of what happens when people buy a snake and don't know what they are doing or getting into. This makes me mad because she is the sweetest thing as is most Bp and the guy I took her from didn't take care of her at all. Thanks. SSR

A Vet may prescribe Baytril or Amikacin to be injected to treat the Bacterial Infection. I'm not fond of Baytril because it sometimes leaves scars but it's safer to use than Amikacin if your snake is dehydrated.
