Looking for safety p&p

Flavio_Morrissie May 17, 2006 05:03 PM

I am looking for any general Policies and Procedures for preventative injuries from large crocodilians. I am also looking for protocol on crocodilian incidents. I am posting a general safety page on the website. I have written many for Crocodilians in Zoos and private institution, but I am finding that there are some creative ideas in the private hobby sector.

Thanks,

Do you mean crocs hurting themselves? other crocs? or their keepers?

I think some outlined safety protocols to prevent injury to the crocs themselves, each other AND their keepers would be a great thing and very helpful to crocodilian keepers across the board.

While I am somewhat sure that Flavio's question was pertaining to Croc vs. keeper, I think some protocols covering ALL of the bases would be pretty cool.

Best Wishes,

Chris

Yes, I was refering to all of the above. I have quite a p&p now, but I am looking for some creative policies and techniques for all. I will keep adding and looking for opinions on introductions and keeper croc interactions.

Thanks,

Flavio
