? about lost tail regrowth?

adamjeffery May 17, 2006 07:32 PM

so i went to order a male gecko for my 2 females and i got a blizzard. they called the next day and said that the blizz that i wanted had already been sold but they did have one with a regrown tail for 10 dollers less. i said ok cuz its not that big of a deal and the picture shows that it is almost fully grown back. my question is will the tail eventually look fully normal or will you always be able to tell it was lost and regrown.

Sorry to say it but the tail will never look the same, you will always be able to tell that it has been regrown.

The tail will always look different, but it won't have any effect on the gecko's ability to live a long, healthy life or breeding. It's merely cosmetic.

thank you for your replys. i was not to worried about the tail, i was more or less curiouse about what it would look like in a little while. i recieved him today and he is very nice a little shaken up from the flight but he already ate and was in the process of shedding when i recieved him.
