Help me decide what lizard to get....

tydyetoad May 17, 2006 08:19 PM

Its been a few years sence I had a lizard around the house...yeah, like 10 years!

Ive had anoles, collards, iguanas and a water dragon...

Im thinking about getting another Water Dragon... but I thought Id ask around first. Im no lizard expert, I dont know much about different breeds ect. Im looking for a sorta largish, fairly mildly tempered, family pet type lizard. It can eat mice or whatever...I dont mind handling live food at all

Just nothing that will try and eat the 3 year old or the family cat. lol

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Looks like I was wrong, the next Lizard was a very friendly Bearded Dragon my son suckerd me into at the Pamona Reptile Show today, but the Desert Iguana's are on the way, they were ordered from newtspets.com, witch so far I've only gotten very nice hand selcted wild cought lizads from, at great prices and ships 2nd day for $10. Chris is helpful and will give me all the time on the phone and ansered all my questions, never cutting my off to go do something else, and was willing to ez my mind and make sure I was comfertable bying a new pet and shipping it across the U.S. This deal was 1.1 Desert Iguana sub-adult $60. and $10. shipping by far the best deal and Customer service I found in the KingSnake Classifieds.
