Hi Shannon, are these from the same line as the ones I got from you last year?? They sure look like it. They are such hogs they would eat every day if I feed them, even when they are blue they still eat. See you this weekend at the show...

Shannon,
Very nice looking albinos. I was hoping to get some albinos as well from my male albino bred to a het albino female. The only problem was that my het turned out to be a normal or I have very bad luck! All 5 came out to be normal. Oh well, I now have 5 het hatchlings.
Congrats once again on hatchling some great looking hondos! Please post some more of the vanishing ghost when you get some free time!

MORE PICS....
Brett,
Don't feel like the lone ranger. Here is what happened to us 2 years ago.
I bred an albino male to his het Mom. She laid 7 eggs and not a single albino hatched out!
On a different note, though, we bred our hypo male to a het hypo female. She also laid 7 eggs and we hatched out 5 hypos and 2 het hypos. She then double clutched and gave us 4 more eggs, which all hatched out hypos. So, out of 11 eggs, we got 9 hypos and 2 hets!
Genetics. Go figure.
Hope this makes you feel a little better.

Steve,
Thanks for the words of encouragement! I can't believe that you didn't any albinos either. Hopefully next year I will get all albinos! I was lucky enough to hatch a few womas this year so all in all it has been a good year!
Best of luck to you!
Brett
p.s. How is your amazing super retic coming along? That is one beautiful animal!
Brett,
Glad that you have some good news for the year. We look like we will do pretty good with the hondurans this year. We should have about 60-65 eggs by the end of the 2nd clutches being laid.
We should have albino, double het snows, hypos, het hypos and tricolors het for hypo. If we are lucky we should produce 1-2 tangerine albinos also.
The super tiger is doing well. She is close to 9' now and is starting to get the girth on her rather than just the length. She is a real finicky feeder, but we still manage to get the food to her. I am hoping that we can possible get her up to breeding sized this next season and breed her to our albino male to produce, at least a small clutch, of tigers het for albino.
Only time will tell.
See ya!
