I replied privately, but I'll post this for all to see and learn from.

Using a propane torch, you heat small sections of the PVC as if you were working with metal rod. Basically you get 4-5 inch sections hot by rotating the PVC and then twisting it once it's malleable... here's the part that took a minute or two to figure out... you have to cool down the PVC for it to get it's strength back before you can make the next twist, or it'll never work out.. You’ll just twist the PVC apart at the previous twist. So by cooling it with water between twists it regains its strength so that it'll bend at the next heated spot. You just continue down the length of the pipe, cooling between each twist until the desired effect is achieved.
