Striped Green Albino PMB

Gabor May 18, 2006 12:15 PM

Hello

I dont post on this forum too much but i thought i will share with these kidos. I have hatched striped Green Albino burmese python. The parents look "normal" but all the babys were striped. Most of them didnt survive and stayed in the eggs and we ended up with 3.2 but im glad I have them. Not many striped abino burmese i have seen yet.

Thanx for looking

Having raised an albino green I just have to question if the stripe will last long. My male had tons of spots on him, and now at 8 1/2 feet, he has no spots at all, he's just yellow on top, and white bottom.

It would be awesome if they did stay though.

to my knowledge stripes are unlike spots. I have never seen or heard about an animal with a stripe grow out of it.

they take to hatch out?

Gabor May 19, 2006 04:58 AM

Hi

I cant keep them all. They grow toooo BIG... but the truth is that this green line i have tend to stay smaller then average burmese. Maybe its an inbreeding effect. It took them about 5 more days to hatch then they usually came out from the egg. Anyway, I hope they will not turn all yellow one day. I have one adult male that has nice spots but he is about 7 feet long.

Greetings

Hi Gabor,

Can you please email me privately about these striped greens? I need to discuss something with you about them. Thanks a bunch,

Thanks for getting back to me. The striped albino greens look great BTW! Do you know who produced your adults? I got an albino green with a nice stripe from Bob Guerriere at Ancient Reproductions. I also know he has produced several that were like that. Although the striping on mine isn't as nice as yours.

Your burmese looks very nice!!!
I bought them in Poland and they were produced in Czech Republic. I dont think they are from the same parents but im not 100% sure. I took the snakes from 2 different people...

Take care
