I am not an owner of any snake, or ball pyton, but I have been doing research on them, because I am planing on getting one..

Snakes do not actually pee like you think.. the white things that you see that are attatched to the poo are called: Urates.

so you don't have to go hunting for urine lol... if anybody wants to add to this feel free...

What you found WAS urine. They pass solid urine (urates). Poop looks like poop.

you would be amazed at how much the poop looks like ... POOP! It looks like cat poop. Well if you have a baby it looks like kitten poop, but same difference. Urates are easy to find, like said above what you found is probably urates. Not a liquid.

Wow that makes cleanup a lot easier.. What do u guys use to scoop out the urine and poop?... use a paper towel and just cuff it in there?..

What's the easiest way.. now since i know that urine is soo easy to spot

Once again thanks for all the help guys,
Chris

Not sure what would be easiest on your substrate. I use paper towels in the bottom of my cage, and when my BPs "go" I just take them out, rinse the cage down, and lay more paper towels. I suppose you could use a cat little scoop, and sift them out of the substrate?? Or, just hunt around with a paper towel...

When cleaning keep in mind that there is also a large amount of liquid that needs to be disposed off along with the white part. Leaving the liquid uncleaned can lead to bacteria developing which in turn can lead to some nasty scale rot.

you said you have fir bark... is it zoo meds Repti Bark? If so, if you still have the bag, you can look at the back and it says that you should clean out the urine and fecese and then completely clean the cage every 2-3 months. I would do it once a month, but the great thing about the bark is that you don't have to buy more, you can just get a bucket and put it in there with a solution that zoo med sells and let it soak.

How do i go about soaking?.. and spot cleaning.. just scoop out solid urates.. and the poop.. or scoop out the whole section of bark?..
