Sexing Bull Snake

I recently obtained a WC bull snake. I would like to determine the sex of the snake. I've probed Ball pythons before so I'm vaguely familiar with probing. However, how many scales is considered female, male? Does that vary upon snake species or is that a constant? Thanks for your help

No need to complicate it. If you can probe just do it and if it is a male it will go in very far, if female not deep at all.
