I posted this last week, but it wasn't really addressed and this forum moves pretty quick.

I have a baby ball that I picked up 1 month ago. He ate fine the 1st 2 feeding on f/t rat pups. During the 3rd feeding he struck, missed and came up with a mouthful of carefresh bedding. He got the bedding out and lost interest in the pup. I tried twice more and still no interest. Is it usual that an experience like that can change the feeding response of these snakes?

I replaced the bedding with paper and still no luck.

thanks
