I was wondering if anyone knows an old friend of mine?His name is Gerry Salmon.He lived or lives in upstate New York. Sorry if this the wrong place for it.Its been years since I seen him,and I was wondering how he is.

Sorry Ralph...Never heard of him. I've been up that way alot, got a lot of family up there, but that name doesnt quite ring a bell. Next time I'm up there, I'll take a look around though.

Gerry is still in New York and is doing well. Please don't ask me for information of how to get in touch w/ him as that is not something I'm willing to do w/out his ok. He checks the forum from time to time and I will mention your post next time I'm in touch w/ him.

When I first started "observing" animals in the field I ran into Hollister first... and I thought the car powered coffee maker was impressive... Little did I know that Margaritas (ala blender) could also be had while collecting.
Wait a minute was that one or two alterna I saw on that last cut...

Next thing, he'll hook up the laptop to the car battery and get a wireless internet card with an unbelievable range...so you can report to the Kingsnake folks what you found WHILE you're herping!! LOL!

Hmm.. last time I spoke to Gerry was at the 2002 Daytona Expo; before that, I was standing in the middle of 285 at 9-mile cut N of Sanderson at approx. 1:15 AM early last June. Definitely tell he's a Noo Yawka
