Cutting Woma eggs?

Hi there I was just wondering does anyone cut there woma eggs after the first one pips? A freind of mine has cut his after the first one pips and the ones he cuts ends up dieing in the egg. This has actually happened to more then one freind of mine. Does any of you guys cut them with success? Thanks again

I wouldn't cut until 3 days after the first one comes out.

This is what I do, does not mean you should, just what I do. When one piips and comes out of the egg, I wait 24 hours, if no more pip or come out, I immediately start pipping the eggs. You MUST be careful when you do this, if you snip a blood vessel they will bleed to death ( I suspect that is what happened to your friend) Read Marzeks book on boas and pythons, it discusses the technique and shows how to do it.

I only do it if the others have not hatched out, it is not worth it to me to lose them cause they couldnt get out of hte egg. I had to do it with 3 or 4 this year, had I left them in the egg they would have died.

Every year I have had 1 come out of the egg on day 50 and then the rest of the clutch waits untill day 53-55. Just wait they can do it on there own.
