For ChrisK, re: Albino bubblegum rats

Contrary to your belief that it is a T-, your albino bubblegum is definitely a T animal. Check out:

Here you have the answer "straight from the horse's mouth," so to speak. The entire thread may interest you, since it all pertains to the genetic background of these designer snakes.

The above line should read "... a T-plus animal."

I posted photos of this male when I got him as a youngster and one opinion was that he was an albino bubblegum ratsnake. After seeing some discussion on the lists about these and having a more recent photo, I thought I would get people's opinion now he is a bit more mature.

thanks,

Either the flash gave that snake picture a bad case of red eye, or it's an albino of some sort.

I'd go to the corn snake forum and ask Kathy Love that question. Good luck.

He could possibly be an albino bubblegum, but the striping suggests to me that he could also possibly be an albino yellow. Contact me off-list, and I'll see about visiting your place when I'm next in Edmonton (probably in December), so that I can get a good look at him. BTW, is "he" a male or a female? If you want to breed from him, you'll need to know that, and I may be able to provide a mate.
