thanks for the comment on Cyrus - I know, his little red dots are SO sweet
as for him seeing the other animals it would likely be a stressor. I accidentally brought Darwin in to bask on the windowsill (we'd been doing this since last summer after Luna died) and after a while I happened to look at Cyrus who was all freaked out - swaying, puffed - and STARING at this spiny t6hing on the windowsill! I find if he is in the cage it is not an issue, but Darwin just sits there like a lump (lol!). Now I do have my little blotchie tank in here, too and Cyrus does not seem to even notice them, but they are only about 5" long (incl tail) and are either very still or dart around quickly, then stop.
Your situation might be different and, as you know what most say, don;t let them see other animals. I think in Cyrus' case with the blotchies (besides their size and location is that he is definitely in a place of superiority - if he was any higher he'd be on the roof! lol!
So you will have to gauge things for your setup, room size, etc. So you would let Chyam swing on the vines but not Val??
