Good news/Bad news

Well all three of the snakes that I had together in the community nesting box laid eggs. No problems with them being together.

The leonis I call Butterscotch laid at least 5 eggs that appear to be good and several others that look iffy. She still has one or two eggs in her that look to be working their way down.

The MSP female with red/grey appears to have laid all slugs. I have them all in the incubator but they don't appear to be good eggs.

The other leonis, Mildred my proven female, laid at least 8 eggs that appear to be good and a few more that I'm not sure of.

Three down, two more (thayeri) to go. I'm going to let the two remaining thayeri nest by themselves.

well I feel your pain. Out of my five females I probably have about 20-25 good eggs. In all my colony laid a combined 57 eggs so I'm shooting less than 50% odds. I had one clutch of 11 that look to all be good.....I can't explain that one for the life of me because all the females bred with the same two males.

Good luck with the rest.

Farming is green stuff that grows out of the ground. Tending the herd is Ranching. I guess Ranching could be a subdivision of farming. Although Dairy Farmers are considered Farmers and not Ranchers; now I have confused myself. I wonder if I qualify for government Farm assistance for the Small Semi-Urban Alternative Ranch?

Happy Ranching; err…Farming.
