03' or 04' I need some help

dnreptiles May 19, 2006 06:59 PM

I bought my Columbian in 03' or 04', i can't remember. She is Roughly 9lbs and is over 5' long. I would say her growth rate is average. I got her with no intention of breeding. I contacted the place where i bought her and they were not able to help me so with that said what would you guys say? Think i should try her this coming season?

if you're unsure of her age, it's better off to wait. Besides, a 5' female is rather small, and could harm her. Even if you did successfully breed her and produce babies, you would get a very small litter because 1) she is so young, and 2) she is small for breeding size.

In my opinion, it's not worth it, keep feeding her, and wait for next season.
