Hondurans

minicopilot May 19, 2006 11:00 PM

I was thinking of getting a pair of Hypo Hondurans and was wondering if they have the same care requirements as say an Eastern King or Brooksi, both of which I keep, or more of a tropical type care requirement like a Cribo?
Also, what is the max size that these grow to?

Thanks

They have basically the same husbandry requirements so you should be able to easily adjust to them. As adults, a typical size is about 5' and about 800g or so. Max sizes can be bigger. I have one female that was at 1200g before breeding -- a real monster.

Thanks Joe. This is what she looks like now (bottom photo), along with a picture of her half-sister. Both should breed next season.
