Babies and veggies?

tink May 19, 2006 11:56 PM

I just got three new baby res. I had one years ago and never got her to eat veggies. As I've read many times now to start them young I have a few questions if anyone has a minute.

First what kind of veggies and what about fruit?

How often would you offer these things to young turtles (mine are very young. . . quarter size or just a bit larger)?

How do you offer these foods? Drop them in the water or place them on a dry area?

Thanks much,

Tink

Always feed them in the water. For turtles that small, slice the veggies into really thin strips.

slice carrots so they are the size of toothpicks.
