Wow.... Hatchlings... More

dexterdoolittle May 20, 2006 06:58 AM

Well what can I say. Exactly 50 days ago a Female Westy of mine dropped what looked to be 9 good eggs.... after less than a week the eggs had all blown up and gone a manky yellow see through colour...they looked pretty bad. So, chucked them in the incubator and kinda forgot about them for a while. Other clutches were produced and every now and then I would check them all and occasional if I felt the need would check the eggs that I thought had gone bad, or so i thought. Well gone to the incubator today to check the other eggs and low and behold there is a small hatchling staring at me, from the tub of 'BAD' eggs.! Open up to find several roaming around and a couple just pipping.! Check out both the state off the eggs, the cute hatchlings produced and the striped baby.! These are from a het to normal breeding, so are all possible hets. Thanks to 'evilelvis' for supplying me with the het male.

I wont be offended if you'd like to give it to me as a gift(:

Not sure about sex as yet but I think the striped might be a keeper.! How much you doing albinos for this year? Got 8 hatchlings in total out of the nine eggs.! Well happy.! The only reason I kept hold of the eggs is because I could see lots of veins in the see through part of the egg.? Paid off.!

Very cool baby. Definitely a keeper and if I'm reading the post correct, it is genetic. That's awesome!
