Are water dragons communal?

I'm told that it is ok to keep Chinese water dragons and basilisks together, but what about Chinese with Australian? I know this may seem like a silly question if the answer is no, but I can't find anything on the net saying wether you can or not. I have a very large enclosure to provide them with, so I dont think that space would be a problem. Any input will be apprieciated.
