im confused about this

every time i take my dragons outside for sun light they turn citrus but when i bring them inside they tur black/brown why is that someone please help

it's beacuse there is most likely more heat and UV outside than there is inside. Nothing to really worry about. Mine do that too sometimes.

Dragons can lighen/darken their basic coloration naturally. They do it to absorb more/less heat/light according to the conditions they are in. As it is very difficult to get their cages as bright as the sun outside, they tend to darken more when in their cages, unless their basking spot is hot (around 105-120F, this can be as low as 95F but best to have a range of basking temps, or an angled wide basking spot, which has various temps depending on elevation)

The sun also puts out more UVB than any commerical UVB out there for the consummer. It is good to take your dragon out on warm days, as long as he has somewhere to go to get out of direct sunlight when he does get too warm (a shaded area is good, either shade provided by a hide, or something casting shade to one section of the container you bring your dragon outside in).
