New Kids

golfdiva May 20, 2006 09:58 PM

I know this is off topic, but since I mostly hang out here, I wanted to introduce them here! Here are my two new kids! I got them about a week ago from a shelter in Pennsylvania. They were confiscated as part of an animal cruelity bust. The male is about 7" and a yellow bellied slider. The female is about 5" and a red bellied cooter. They are both swimming, eating and basking well. They seem to be aclimatizing quite nicely! They are very calm and gentle turtles, and I am bonding with them very rapidly! Course how can one help it, with a face like that!? Lol!

Your pics are awesome! I'm glad you decided to post them here as this is where I hang out most of the time too. They found a great caretaker.
