First clutch...2 weeks ago or so...

bpconnection May 21, 2006 11:55 PM

Here is a pic of my first clutch that dropped a couple weeks ago...by the way. 8 viable eggs, 1 slug, 1 exhilerated daddy!

(Mommy was 2300g post lay!)

Notice on the second picture a spot that's been on an egg from the time it dropped. The egg is still doing great, though!

PS...The greatest thing I ever did was convert my closet into my incubator. I can't see it sitting in my room, so I don't think about it as much, so I don't open it up every time I step in the room! If you usually crack and die a couple days before Christmas (Like I do) this is a good option to try!

PSS...Once again, a $35 borrowed camera! Gotta love it!

Congrats Jeremy.

Looks like you have one giant egg and two little ones in there(kinda what my fist clutch was like).

Good luck with them.

Thanks...I was surprised by the disparity in the sizes of the eggs. I would have hated to have laid the one large one! Well, from what I've heard about kidney stones, I'd hate to have laid anything at all!
