Black albinos and reversed pied? I wonder if a pied with black instead of white could be produced. Also has anyone ever produced a black albino?

thanks,
John

Black Albino = Axanthinc - I have heard the turm used in Corn snakes

Reverse Pied = I would consider a reverse pied a snake that had a white head instead of a normal color head like a pied has and the normal spot turn white and the white turns normal, That is my Version of a REVERSE PIED

YES, I have seen a few animals that had Black all over them instead of white, NOT like the PARADOX but it was more likw the Pied markings only in black.

Balls are one of my favorite snakes. Recently I made a decision that would affect the animals I keep. I decided to breed my kingsnakes a few time then retire them as pets and focus mainly on ball python morphs. What would you reccomend as a first ball morph to breed? I was thiking of pastels since its a co dominant trait and you can see the results soon with them. Also then theres the chance of super pastel when breeding pastel to pastel. What are the odds of producing a super pastel?

thanks,
John

For the reverse pied the closest thing made so far is the Super Paradox Hypo Mojave that the Sutherlands produced last year. Its a leucistic with semi normal patches of color. Perhaps Dan and Collette Can post a new photo.
Here is an example that we have that kind of fits your description. Unproven and probably some sort of Paradox...
The other sure way to make a reverse pied has not yet been done that is to breed a leucistic made from two seperate morphs to a shatter pattern. That would give you a white snake with black shatter ove the white..Give us a couple of years on that one...
A Black Albino is probably not doable since albinism is a lack of pigment.. But you never know....
