I ´ve seen snakes that have the skin of the lower jaw hanging. why? I though it´s on account of the previous process of the "ecdisis", but I´m not sure. A friend said me it ´s on account of a digestive problem. Can you tell me about this? I upload a pic of this.

...and what about this kind of handling? Regards.

I doubt that has anything to do with shedding. My first thought is that the snake has a respiratory problem, but I am not sure.

Could be the snake was picked up and inverted right after it had a large drink of water. A lot of times if you aren't careful picking one up after a large drink they'll actually have water flow out of their mouth...

Some snakes puff out their necks as a threat display (I've never seen a rattlesnake do it) and some snakes get that look when they have a respiratory infection, but it's hard to tell from that photo. I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with shedding though.

I think he should have his salivary glands removed in fashion similar to what he has done to his snakes to allow such handling...

I have a Large Crotalus atrox that has been fed heavy and last time he was shedding I noticed his bottom jaw had sagging skin on it. It worried me sick but after the shed everything was back to normal.. He is Fat though.. So that could be it.
I have a Large Bullsnake that does the same thing but to a lesser degree..
Thats all I know
