CH Balls, Morph question...

EmberBall May 22, 2006 06:02 PM

OK, if a CH Ball comes in and is an Albino, or Pied, I would say sell it as such, because an Albino and a Pied are pretty easy to identify. What about Cinnamons, Yellow Bellies, Axanthics, and Granites? I see people selling Yellow Bellies and Granites promising Ebonies....I think they are asking for big problems.

They are asking for HUGE problems. As far as I know ONLY ONE EBONY has been produced by Amir, It was never done again to my knowledge. From what I heard even when the same 2 animals were bred together, I may be wrong but that is what I heard, so if that is the case then NO ONE can claim that a YELLOW BELLY or GRANITE will produce EBONY's. Now if it had been done several time by several different people then you could state that they MIGHT produce Ebonys but until the one SOMEONE is Selling produces Ebony's then I wouldn't say that they will. Most of the people that have been in the ball market for a few years knows this and we just bypass them ads. Thanks David

Hey, Dave how are your Ember balls doing? I think I may have hatched a fire out this week. I am not 100% sure but it sure looks like a fire to me. But I will have to wait until it sheds to see for sure. Good luck with yours. Thanks David

Shoot me a pic and I will give you my honest opinion! They have a distinct look even before they shed, so take a pic and send it over

Dave

This pic is pre first shed.

I beleive that no matter what, people will call "yellowbelly" looking animals yellow bellies and like wise with fires and granites. But its not fair to those who dont know how to tell the difference. With Granites there are so many lines that dont prove i think its a gamble if you want to buy an animal that may not be genetic. If the seller has proved them then they shoud state proven genetic granite. As for Yellow Bellies "True" Proven lines are often refferd too as het Ivories. And also with fires they are sometimes called het black eyes, i think this makes it easier for buyers. If you are selling the animal as a het you should back it up, if your selling it as a yellow belly or a fire then the buyer should ask about ts genetics and if its been proven or if its a CH animal. Most ads state in the title CH yellow bellies, if that is the case then it cant be proven and the seller should not be responable. As for Cinnamons and thier such i think the word 'possible" should be included if the gentics are unknown.

I agree. But you have to agree .apastel wc is a pastel. Some are better than others but they will make pastels.of course if you are not gonna back your animals then noone will buy from you.I feel no matter what you sell stand behind it.Even normal balls you don't see much anymore.
