How do i tell a boy from a girl its about two feet long I caught it in miami the other day.

First off, make sure to bring it to a vet for a checkup, de-worming, etc.
Secondly, males are pre-anal pores, around the vent area, where females do not. Also, males have a bulge around that area, due to the presence of hemipenes.
At two feet it still still a bit small to be 100% certain. Other signs are large jowls.
If you can't figure it out, give it an asexual name, or one that can be interchaged.
By the way, at two feet long, it requires an adult-sized enclosure. Look around this forum for topics that may interest you, and answer some questions that may come to mind.
