Color question?

mkco79 May 23, 2006 11:34 AM

Our leo is getting really dark like an orange color! He has some really dark spot on the base of his tail. When we first got him he was much more yellow and I was wondering if i should be worried about health problems or is this just his normal color coming through as he ages? Here is a pic of him looking more yellow. Right now he is a much darker color then that! If anyone wants a more current pic let me know and Ill get one of him later today!

Thanks all!

The color change is a normal part of their development. The spots usaully fade to some degree and their color becomes more dominant.

why dont you take a pic of him when you think he is really dark? i notice my babies are really dark sometimes and then i let them sit in indirect sunlight through the window for like 45 seconds and they really brighten up.
