grapefruit seed?

"Q. Where can I find Grapefruit Seed Extract?
A. GSE is recommended for use in the water for corn snakes. It is sometimes difficult to find. I had to search all over town to find a health food store that sold it. The good thing is that a $10 bottle of GSE will last you for a very long time, since you only need about 6-7 drops to the gallon of water."

i found this somewhere on the internet, whats the deal? is this a nutrition thing or something else? is it only for cornsnakes or kingsnakes too?

GSE is reported to have antibacterial properties. (some reports claim its the preservitives in the GSE not the GSE) Some people have had some success using it on babies with regurgitation problems. I would expect that if regurgitation is due to some form of bacterial infection it show have the same effect on corns and kings.
