Avery cool looking tegu

I don't know what is up with this guy. I think it may be genetic but I don't know. I have not made up my mind if I am going to keep it and try to prove it out or not. I picked him up on a trade at the Texas reptile expo last weekend. Any opinions on this guy would be great.

Holy crap how much was it.
that looks like a yellow tegu (tupinambis duseni) they are very rare. cites 2 i beleive

i dont know you better send him to me and let me check him out lol.

i dont really have any because so little is really published about them. but if you go to thetegu.com and look up the user name "tupinambis" i beleive he has worked with them, in brazil. he is a pretty reliable resource, and normally willing to help

It is a gold tegu, just A little long in the neck area.It is definitly not a Yellow tegutake care Russ

well yes it is a cool looking tegu. what tegu doesnt look cool? but its just a gold tegu.
