fineline 66% het albino male

junglehabitats Jul 31, 2003 11:01 AM

this little guy came with his two sisters from my good friend @Carolina Captive Bred Reptiles in Raleigh NC from his 66%'ers that he didnt think was gravid .we walked in the store and well there was a wiggling mass of surprises, but the the lil Albino stuck her head up from the bottom of the deck and well he was happy and i was broke at the time lol so i got the trio here she had 16 total and 3 were slugs so that the other albinos he coulda had .
i Hope to breed this one out in a few yrs to see what i get but none the less i love the fineline look and he also has connecting side saddles .I suspect theres a "suri in the wood pile" somewhere as the peaks on the females show but none the less will make a good looking gene pool!

Should make some nice albinos if it proves het.! I don't see anything that would lead me to suspect any B.c.c. influence, mild to wild mid-dorsal projections are not uncommon in B.c.i....the dorso-lateral connectivity can sometimes be a precursor to what some call "reverse striping",which is essentially a dorso-laterally striped/dorsally patternless variation, that makes for a very interesting look! this is a "hypo" with partial dorso-lateral connectivity, and, reduced dorsals,it showed up in several of the sibs as well.

hey there AwSoMe Hypo!.... i just moved upto Lake James here in morganton ( parents live here also along w/ brother). I was living near Raleigh but the hustle & bustle was a B!@ch to say the least. But atleast there i could get FOOD lol seems like a ghost town when i call petshops for food for snakes ! they act like i asked for a case of the plague lol. i have this male and 2 of his sisters along with a readily breeding male het (kahl) thats doing his duty as we speak to a high white female.Still waiting to pick up a nice female het or albino but have to rebuild funds as i have depleted them on the move and moving of my shop. I have about 14 boas right now and some very awsome Anery's from Boa republic from 02 that i plan on breeding to my older 100% het next yr . glad to know im not alone here in the hills with my snakes . but the best part is i can go rattler hunting here ... along with many other species heheheh mom will have a coniption fit when i come home wityh a bag of rattlers

I don't like Raleigh either. I have to order from Rodentpro or other places for my rats, I have about 18 boas, of every sort, I like anerys too, I've seen some of Alex's anerys and they are sweet. I have a pretty nice anery male an a 00 female 66% het from the Ivory line, I am hoping they will hookup this winter. I also have a pastel hypo project for this winter, and am building up a het albino collection. Do you have any breeding plans? Rattlers aren't all that common up here but from what I have heard there are alot of copperheads.

Hey there ,
right now i only have one breedable female which is currently being suduced by my male het albino ( kahl) My old female bci died after giving birth in march so im down to this new one.I have the 66% trio which will be a few yrs down the road for them and the anerys might could go next yr im not pushing them when there read there ready. ihavew a big male suri which i might would look into breeding him if i could fins a Amazon lady to m,ate him with hes over 8 ft.Then i have a female from 2000 i got back from a friend of the female that passed in march she coul go next yr and then .. uhhm uhhhm. ohh yeah i have a female holdback from the march litter who i call my heart beat shes gonna be a nice one esp if her striping proves to be genetic ( i hope so two others had some mild latterial striping but sold them to a friend who i owed a favor lol ) once i hget some $ built up id like to get a het female or albino female to breed late this yr or next spring to my male and or to the anery from alex. just so much i want to do but so little time lol .

now as to rattlers my dad runs a sales route for auto shops in the area and hes told me of a guy up on South Mountain here that has serveral LARGE skins from rattlers hes killed in the shop yard. so i may head out one day to look through the woods to see what i see ! and copperheads are cool to i have no quams with them. now whatta bout Cottonmouths? many of them in these areas ? there really fun nothing like the smell of a old mossy cottonmouth on the walking path lol . Also i am planning on picking up some breeder rats from some place up your way a lady told me about that has them for wholesale so i can breed my own instaed of buying them so i might could help you out in the near future and also plan on wabbits to just for the bigger ones i have (3) let me know if your interested we can talk more about it . take care
