okay ive tried feeding her twice since ive been home from school and she only eats live, so ive tried two times now and shes not going for it, the last time i fed her was three weeks ago and she ate 2 adult mice in one feeding, since then nothing. she usually acts like this when she is gonna shed but she is not in blue phase or nething, about a month and a half ago i changed her substrate and tank, but she has eaten a few times since the change, so i dont think its any husbandry,,, what do you guys think ??

Try some soothing music. Nervana or something.

But they can feel vibration, anything that vibrates the enclosure! Loud is good.

Since you switched tanks, check your temps. Also, is the new enclosure in a different area? Once I had a thayers kingsnake who stopped eating when I moved his enclosure away from the windows in the herp room. One day while cleaning enclosures, I put his back by the window. Within 30 minutes he came out of his hide and wanted to eat. Environmental cues? Temps? Coincidence? Since then I've added "environmental cues" changing to my checklist of things to check for when an animal stops eating.
Just a thought--

Pantera, Nirvana, etc. create vibes that inspire snakes to spray feces, as does plugging in an amp and playing bass near the herp room. Just a bit of experience talking--

Guess what we are saying is relax. Snakes will go off feed with no ill effects. In the wild they will have seasons of drought etc,,, and can shut down. Don't worry unless the feces smell bade or the movement seems impaired.
