Spilotes breed year round but will cycle in the spring. My females are cooled to 65F and light cycle reduced to 8 hrs in the fall. They will breed every spring and are among the first to breed. I get eggs around the 15th of June every year, I just palpated one female and she has 7 or 8 eggs. The other female is also good to go.

Although, I said that I would never keep any snakes that eats anything bigger than an adult mouse. Well, I might just have to change my rule."oh well"

Good luck!

All babies from our first clutch are eating and the second clutch will be hatching around late June.
