I'm looking into getting a white throat monitor. My previous experience with reptiles was with pythons. I had to sell them when I went off to college. The heat source that I used for them were radiant heat panels and I loved them. Can radiant heat panels create a sufficient basking area for a monitor of this species. I know they require very high basking temps up to 120-130 deg.
