why over 2000 ft above sea level? In alaska you could be on the sea and they wouldn't survive. Or in my case live in Washington state less than 50 feet above sea level and they would be lucky to make it to september. It depends on where they live not there elevation.

your right.....has to do with delineations of altitude....AND latitude......missed that one as I was going to fast....thanks for this great catch

Looking at the BocaBeacon.com recent article on the National Reptile Foundation.org organizeing a yahoo group site group name spineytail.........Lisa is also setting up a website for the rescure effort and is needing membership for rescue support and adoptions nationwide........can connect from the article on the Boca Beacon.com site or go to google and type in national reptile foundation.org

Meeting is June 20 and someone has to be there physically to explain that humane removal means no kill.......humane trapping and removal for relocation by adoption or by way of herp supply companies in Miami.......trapper is waiting to go to work on this.....money has been offered by a foundation only if no kill program is used to relocate or neuter alpha males.....all we need is numbers and representation at the meeting at Boca Grande so that Scott Hardin of the Florida Wildlife Service from Gainesville and Lee County Commissione Bob Janes and Lee County Animal Services Scott Trebatosky can hear the effectiveness of a no kill plan that will take a season or two to accomplish
