Getting a 9 inch Club Tail

coyote12899 Jul 31, 2003 11:40 AM

Can any body direct to a good informational site? I have a 21 inch Spiny Tail and I am guessing the husbandry is pretty much the same. No, they will not be living together. For the time being the Club Tail will be in a 29 gal screen top aquarium and the Spiny Tail in a large bird cage. Another question could I bathe them together so that they become familiar with each other? I would be watching every minute and would turn the tub in to an iguana wonderland.

Also I have had my Spiny Tail since Feb, How rough would a name change be for him. I do not often call him by name cause I am not happy with his name Spike, I tried I.Spy and I want Toto. Will a name change scar him for life?

Thank you for any and all help,
Coyote

A name change will scar him for life and will cause him not to feed. He may even get metabolic bone disease from a name change.

I had better not change his name then, darn. Bad Iguana Mama. So that was a dumb question and I was not thinking clearly. The other questions???
